Dear Me,

You just turned 3_ today. In celebration of your birthday, I am writing this letter because you are definitely worth celebrating for. I know you never like to party but you should welcome this year with a big bang! Let go of your uncertainties, disappointments and fear because they are only part of your past. This is 2012! This is your new beginnings, your new life. Embrace life because it is too darn good. You should love its complexities, the highs and the lows because these make life so worthwhile.

If unavoidable circumstances will ruin your plans this year, take it as it is. There is no need to fight. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Don’t get frustrated when things will not go according to plan. Instead, respond to this with an open mind and a humble heart.

Discover the beauty of simple things and how they stand as lifesavers when the big things fall apart. And when you become face-to-face with problems do not lose hope and never give up. Keep the faith.

Focus yourself in making great memories and beautiful stories to tell. Build a long-lasting relationships with your family and friends. Create new ones. Open your life to others so that they in turn, may open theirs to yours.

And do not take everything so seriously.  Life is too precious to spend your time worrying.  Laugh more.  Smile often.  Be happy.
